GTMAX – Bikers version of Fast and Furious with average storyline.

GTMAX is a film as a lower version of Fast and Furious presented by Netflix. Director Oliver Schneider has tried his best to show it in a good way, although there is not much of a twist in the story, still it succeeds in keeping you hooked with its camera angles and bike chasing sequences.

Storyline

The story of this film is very simple in which there is a biker gang which is committing a lot of thieves in the city and till now the police has not had any success in capturing and identifying them. On the other side, there is a family who are well-known bike racers of the city, but somehow this family is now burdened with the burden of loan which they do not see any way to get rid of. The young children (Soelie and Michael) of the family whose want to help their father in any way they can, meanwhile they meet the biker gang who is committing all the thieves in the city and the police is searching for them.

The leader of the biker gang, Elyas, offers them to work with him, which they initially refuse, but due to the need to repay the loan and save their house, they are unable to refuse Elyas’s offer. Soelie is a very good biker and also a mechanic but due to some accident in the past she can no longer ride a bike but she agrees to work as a mechanic for Elyas, and she also completes her work. But in the midst of all this something suddenly happens which forces Soelie to ride the bike and she is unable to refuse Elias even if she wants to.

The story continues like this and the thing to watch is how Soelie is able to escape from the biker gang and also escapes from the clutches of the police, along with whether he succeeds in repaying his father’s loan or not.

Conclusion

GTMAX is such a film in which you get to see the helplessness of a father and the courage of a daughter which is played very well by Ava Baya, actually the central character of the film is Soelie. Ava Baya is seen performing well in emotional scenes but along with that the stunts are also performed well. Although Michael is the main character of the film, but Just Riadh, who plays this role, does not look anything special. All the other supporting characters also perform in their respective roles.

What makes this film worth watching is its camera work and bike chasing scenes which are quite impressive, the remaining chasing scene in the climax of the film has been shot very well. However, the ending of the film hints at the beginning of a new story but that will be revealed in the coming times.
